Dovecot College of Nursing(DCN), is a private college that offers quality training towards attaining the Registered Nursing Diploma that is accredited to the General Nursing Council of Zambia(GNC) and the college enrolled its first intake of in July 2008. The college offers Direct entry (3years) as well as in-service (2years) training.
DCN enrols two intakes per year, January and July.
Lusaka Health Institute (LHI) is a not for profit, private training institute for registered nurses in Zambia. The institute commenced opened its doors in January 2007 and offers a three (3) year diploma in Registered Nursing. It has two (2) intakes per year in January and July.
The Lusaka College of Nursing and Midwifery is a government owned college under the Ministry of Health. The College is part of the University Teaching Hospital. It was opened in 1968 to train Registered Nurses and Midwives and it has since expanded to six programmes.
Makeni College school of Nursing is registered with General Nursing Council of Zambia to train internationally recognized professional nurses and is situated on the main Makeni Road about 800 meters off Kafue Road.
