The College is situated on plot number 1998, Kalindawalo road in Kalongwezi residential area of Chipata town In Eastern Province of Zambia.
The Acronym JUBEVA stands for Judith, Benson and Vailet. The college was started In March 2000.
Mongu College of Education is a grant aided institution owned and managed by the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Mongu.
It is located about 6 kilometres to the north of the main round about at ZESCO on the Mongu Limulunga road. It is bordered to the south by Holy Cross Secondary School and St Francis Catholic Church; Malengwa Primary School to the west and Sepo Convent to the north.
The Mwarona College of Education was established in 2006 and is one of the first private colleges to open in Lusaka. It was founded by the late Mr. J.K. Mwansa. The founder of Mwarona College of education looked at investment opportunities available in Zambia and concluded that investment in education would contribute to poverty alleviation and to the socio-economic development of Zambia by increasing the number of graduates with college education.
Zambia Institute of Special Education (ZAMISE) started its operation in 1971, as Lusaka College for Teachers of the Handicapped. The College offered courses in Visual Impairment, Hearing and Physical Impairment.
In 1981, the College extended its training programme to include the training of teachers of the mentally retarded.
