The beginning of Chipata Trades Training Institute dates back to 1970s when the Government came up with an idea of setting a training institute in Chipata. As such, the Government provided land and began construction along Malawi Road. After building only five staff houses, the construction work was suspended for several years. It was only later in 1993 that the decision to set up the institute was revisited.
Dzithandizeni Trust Trades School is a Community based institution situated in Garden Compound in Lusaka. It has been in existence for the past 30 years.The main activity of the school is to compliment government efforts in providing life skills training to youths.
Lukashya Trades Training Institute is located about 4km east of Kasama the provincial capital of Northern Province .It is located on the leeward side of the mountain overlooking the great TAZARA rail line. Lukashya Trades offers quality Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training and other related products and services in collaboration with relevant stakeholders such as TEVETA and ZICA There are a variety of courses offered at the institute under two main disciplines;
Kalingalinga Youth Resource Centre is situated in Lusaka, Mass Media area behind Football House Opposite Energy Regulation Board (ERB) House. The centre was initiated 2001 with the assistance of European Union under the ZECAB (Zambia Education Capacity Building) programme.
Uk’wimi TradesTraining Institute was established in September 1996 after taking over the Structure left behind by refugees at Ukwimi Resettlement Scheme in Chief Sandwe’s Area which is about 70 KM from Petauke Town. There were six students who started in Bricklaying and Plastering course.
